Lenita May Schroeder, 81 years and 14 days, passed away peacefully at home to be in the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ July 2, 2021.

She was born to Rollo and Melvie (Smith) Schroder June 18, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa.

Lenita is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth of Rogers City; a daughter, Teresa Tuft of Alpena; a grandson; her brothers, John (Ikuko) of Paris, California; Keith (Linda) of Seaford, New York and Mark (Teresa) of Miami, Florida; a sister, Kay of Miami, Florida; two brothers-in-law, Arnold (Mary) Schroeder of Portage, Indiana and Timothy (Darla) Schroeder of Richfield, Minnesota; and a sister-in-law, Ethel (John) Beyer of Ozark, Missouri.

Friends may visit at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Alpena Wednesday, July 14, from 10 a.m. through time of her memorial service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joshua Schultz officiating.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church and School in Rogers City or Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Alpena.
