Todd Richard McLean

Todd Richard McLean, 58, of Essexville, our smart, caring, thoughtful, and most generous brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his residence.

Todd was born in Onaway December 7, 1962, the son of the late Robert and Kaye McLean. Growing up, Todd was a pistol, even catching his shirt on fire in church. As a youngster, he enjoyed sports and was an ace of a pitcher on the baseball team, along with an excellent basketball player. Todd graduated from Onaway Area Schools, Class of 1981. He worked for The Bay City Times for many years as a deliveryman. A true classic rock fan, Todd loved Alice Cooper and Ted Nuge

nt, and in his free time, he enjoyed cruising, wood carving, watching baseball and playing cards. Todd loved his family dearly and greatly enjoyed the yearly family reunions, along with trips back to Onaway to see his brothers and go to the cabin. His kind ways will always be remembered.

To carry on his legacy, Todd leaves his siblings, Randy (Cammy) McLean, Russ (Susan) McLean, Colleen (Tom) Greenwood, Bob McLean, Patty (Jim) VanHaaren and Kerry Cruse; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell McLean; and a niece, Lindsey McLean.

A graveside ceremony will be held privately with the family at Hillcrest Cemetery in Onaway at a later date. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Road, between Ridge and Center.
