Steven “Steve” Larson

Steven “Steve” Larson, 58, of Arley, formerly of Onaway, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 13, 1964 to John Edward and Ruth Larson. Steven was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a home builder on Smith Lake and worked for Michigan Log Homes for eight years and owned his own painting and drywall business in Alaska. Most of all Steve was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Steven is survived by his wife, Pam Rose Larson; a son, Greg Gauthier (Vavara) Larson; daughters, Amber Rose (Cameron) Johnson, Morgan (Lucas) Bell and Quinn (Rachel) Rose; sisters, Benita (Randy) Veihl and Mary Larson; a brother, Greg (Brenda) Larson; gran

dchildren, Winter Holland, Berlin Johnson, Vivianne Bell and Newton Bell; nieces and nephews, Keegan Veihl, Joel Veihl, Mattie Larson, Hunter Larson, Kasey Larson, Jason (Kristy) Larson, Chris (Monica) Larson and Jessica (Bill) Blake; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Kylee (Jake) Schierbeek, and Nicole, Taylor, Jordan, Alex and Katlyn Larson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Ruth Larson; and brothers, John, Wallace and Kevin Larson.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 30,  at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tower.

The family invites everyone immediately following the service to the Tower Hall for the Celebration of Life.
