Lorraine Miller

Lorraine Miller, 91, was embraced by her Lord and Savior December 9, 2022 at home in the midst of her loving family.

Lorraine was born to George and Gertrude (Brenay) Marsh in Ocqueoc September 26, 1931.  

Lorraine was married to her faithful partner Melvin J. Miller and they shared 69 years together.

Her life was full, devoted to her faith in her Lord and raising her four girls, making sure her family and friends experienced her skills of cooking, canning, baking and sharing it with all who walked through her door and beyond.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda (Willard) Brege, Vicki (Dennis) Reisener and Brenda S. Miller; a son-in-law Phil Romel; seven grandchildren, Dale Reisener, Chad Brege, Aaron (Amanda) Brege, Josh Burd, and Alex,

Spencer and Sydney Romel; five great-grandchildren, Johnny, Dakota, and Zoey Reisner, and Kylee and Bret Brege; and a sister, Shirley Haan. 

She is also survived by caring in-laws, nieces, nephews and lifetime friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin in 2018; a daughter, Georgann Romel; a infant grandchild, Dennis Reisener; grandchild, Hope Romel; her parents, George and Gertrude Marsh; father and mother-in-law, John and Martha Miller; infant sister, Violet; brothers, Roy, Elmer, Don, George, Floyd and Loyd; and a sister, Erline.

Funeral services took place at Rogers City Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. David Rogers and gracefully handled by Hentkowski Funeral Home in Rogers City. Visitation and funeral service were Monday December 12.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Rogers City Baptist Church and Hospice of Michigan.
