Carol Ann Killey
Carol Ann Killey of Bay City passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 78. Carol was born July 25, 1945 to the late Edward and Myra (Hopp) Furtaw in Rogers City.
She attended St. Ignatuis Catholic School and graduated from Rogers City High School, Class of 1963. On April 11, 1964 she married John H. Killey at St. Ignatuis Catholic Church and moved to Bay City. Carol enjoyed being with her family the most.
Her hobbies were sewing and embroidery, walking, reading, playing euchre and spitzer and exercising with her friends at the YMCA pool.
\Carol is survived by her husband, John H. Killey; five children, Karen (Martin) Barriger, Susan (Perry) Grove, Kathleen English, twin sons, Joseph (Krista) Killey and John P. (Lisa) Killey.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Evan (Bailey Boyle) Grove, Julia Grove, Holly English, Margaret and Edward Killey, Kyle (Breanna Townsend) Johnson and Faith Johnson; brothers, Larry (Linda) Furtaw of Portage and Michael (Linda) Furtaw of Alpena; aunt, Lois Furtaw and Mary Furtaw of Rogers City; and many other nieces and nephews.

\Funeral Liturgy took place Tuesday, September 12, at Our Lady of Peace Parish with Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation was Monday, September 11, at the Gephart Funeral Home. The vigil for the deceased took place Monday.
Carol was taken to the church to lie in state Tuesday until the time of Mass.
