Michael ‘Mike’ John Bruning
Michael “Mike” John Bruning, 74, of Mesa, Arizona passed at home in his sleep April 7, 2024.
He was born in Alpena to Arlo and Iris (Derry) Bruning September 8, 1949.
Mike graduated from Rogers City High School in 1968. He served in the United States Navy. Following his Naval service he went to work for the Veterans Administration providing transportation services and
Mike is survived by his daughters, Jenifer (Bill) Bruning-Edington and Christine (Adam) Bruning-Douehart; grandchildren, Karen, Trey and Carson; four brothers, Tom, Charles, Arlo and George; and two sisters, Julie Bruning-Bahan and Lynn Bruning-Crawford.
Graveside service will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery today (Thursday, August 15) at 2 p.m. with Rogers City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 607 providing military honors.
