Dale Thomas Vizina
Dale Thomas Vizina, 80, of Ocqueoc (formally Indian River), passed away peacefully August 29, 2024, after a lengthy illness.
Dale married Margo Jo Tober May 13, 1965. Dale liked to keep busy, he was a member of the Michigan Fly Wheelers Association and loved running the sawmill, they named WhizViz, with his son, Ralph. Dale’s grandchildren cherish many memories from their time spent with him, having the best belly for naps, truck rides where he pretended to be Jimmy Johnson, tractor rides with Rosco (the dog), rides to the creek to see the alligators, playing guitar, singing country music, carving mushrooms, fish decoys and so much more.
Dale is survived by his three daughters, Tina (Larry) Boughner, Joan (Glenn) Young and Debra (Brian) Greenacre; grandchildren, Ashlee Vizina, Heather (Danny) Rocha, Brandon Boughner, Amber (Jake) Sloan, Jill Young and Sheldon Vizina; along with six great-grandchildren; his sister, Nadine Palazzolo; and brother and sister in-law, Don and Lois Crooks.
