Stanley Aloysius MacFalda

Stanley Aloysius MacFalda, 98, of Posen (formerly of Roseville) passed away at The Brook in Rogers City Saturday, September 14, 2024. 

He was born in Posen to Anthony and Elizabeth (Szczerowski) MacFalda. 

Stanley graduated from Posen High School then went on to serve in the Korean War from September 13, 1950 until he was honorably discharged September 12, 1952. 

He was first employed by the Chrysler Corporation February 4, 1947 and retired December 31, 1990 as a pre-production vehicle specialist at the Outer Drive Manufacturing Tech Center. 

He is survived by his sister, Helen MacFalda of Posen; nieces and nephews, John (Laurie) Kieleszewski, Michael Kieleszewski, Helen Rocca, Dennis Kieleszewski, Robert (Debbie) Kieleszewski, Thomas Kieleszewski, Kathleen (Michael) Blake, Joseph (Patty) Kieleszewski and David (Vicki) Kieleszewski; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Elizabeth; a sister, Theresa (Harry) Kieleszewski; and a brother, Louis MacFalda. 

Friends may visit at St. Casimir Catholic Church Friday, September 20, from noon through time of his funeral Mass at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Charlie Donajkowski officiating. 

Posen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7804 will accord military honors at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery immediately follow Mass.
