Roger LeRoy Faust

Roger LeRoy Faust, 92, of Rogers City passed away peacefully June 2, 2026. 

He was born March 28, 1934, in North Florence, Ohio to Homer and Grace Faust. 

Roger earned his bachelor’s degree from “The” Ohio State University, then earned his master’s degree in education from Eastern Michigan University. On June 28, 1974, he married Irene Laskowski in Westland. He retired from Garden City Public Schools in 1992 after 3

8 years of educating Roger loved fast cars, motorcycles and spending time on the lake fishing. He was a member of the Presque Isle County Sportsmen’s Club. 

He is survived by his wife, Irene “Renee”; three children, Eric, Randy and Tania (Jake) Shore; five grandchildren, Derek, Mitchell, Brian, Tiffany and Jacob; and three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Thavin and Keenya. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Grace; and a brother, Roland. 

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Friday, June 26, from 1 p.m. through time of his memorial service at 2 p.m.
