Eugene Freske

Eugene Freske, 93, of Posen passed away peacefully at WellBridge Assisted Living Center in Grand Blanc October 25, 2026. 

He was born in Posen November 17, 1932, to Anthony and Mary (Peplinski) Freske. 

On May 3, 1958, he married Delores Ross in Rogers City. He loved playing his accordion, listening to polka music and Polka Joe and working on his farm from morning until night. 

Eugene is survived by four children, Pam Warner, Mark (Lori) Freske, Kathy (George) Riharb and Greg (Gina) Freske; nine grandchildren, Jason Ross, Cody Warner, Karen Seavey, Rebecca (Chris) Ridley, Alan (Beckie) Freske, Kristin (Kyle) MacNall, Lauren (Dustin) Proctor, Katelyn (Fiancé, Justin Greason) Riharb and Ashley (Trevor) Adolph; 16 great-grandchildren, Maxwell Ross, Brock Seavey, Kenny Seavey, Lilah Ridley, Brody Ridley, Emm

a Freske, Bristol Freske, Finn MacNall, Logan MacNall, Emma MacNall, Alice Proctor, Charlotte Proctor, Jacqueline Proctor, Winston Proctor, Graham Adolph and Reid Adolph; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; a sister, Margaret Krajniak; and five brothers, Alex, Casimir, Phillip, Ben and Edward. 

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Wednesday, November 4, from 10 a.m. through time of his funeral at 11 a.m. 

Burial will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
