Betty Jane Rusch
Betty Jane Rusch, 92, of Belknap Township passed June 2, 2022 at Sally’s Care Home in Alpena.
She was born November 23, 1929 in Cheboygan to Herman and Cecelia (LaLonde) Rusch.
Betty graduated from Rogers City High School in 1947. She worked as a secretary for various business in town. She was a dedicated member of St. John Lutheran Church and was very involved with the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. For many years she held monthly devotions at Tendercare in Rogers City and Alpena. Betty helped many area people by driving them to appointments and assisting them in their homes.
She enjoyed attending area fairs with her parents and friends and later in life she was involved with the Presque Isle County Fair. Betty loved to entertain by playing tunes on her harmonica.
She is survived by Carrie and Duane and many cousins and friends.
Visitation was at the Beck Funeral Home Tuesday, June 7, through time of her funeral.
Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church Radio Fund or McLaren Hospice in memory of Betty Rusch.
